Gosainkunda Lake is believed to have been created by lord Shiva when he thrust his trishul (trident) in to a mountain to extract water so that he could cool his burning throat after swallowing poison. There is a large rock in the center of the lake, which is said to be the remains of a Shiva shrine. People often claim that they see Shiva lying in the water. Devotes gather here in hordes during the full moon night of August to take holy dip in the lake. This is a Pilgrimage trek that blends with adventure and takes you to the holy lakes of Gosainkund….the hike also cuts across high passes with magnetic mountain landscapes in view. It's a perfect holiday for those seeking adventure amidst divine gods in the beauty of nature. This trek will give you sublime peace & help you get rid of your demons.

it is fantastic flying into Kathmandu on a day with clear blue skies. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks spread down below you are almost rapturous, & begins a whole sequence of memorable experiences that stay with you for a real long time. An escort from our office will meet you at the airport and reach you to your hotel. Our representative will help you check into your designated hotel. At the hotel you will be oriented about your daily activities. This is your first overnight in the valley of the gods.

Kathmandu is the cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal allowed visitors into its borders. The city presents a wonderful combination of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence in the Valley. Patan and Bhaktapur, its two prime neighboring cities bear immense historical, cultural and religious significances. There will be a half day guided tour to the famous and biggest Hindu shrine of Pashupatinath, the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal Boudhanath, the 15th century Palace of 55 windows and Swoyambhunath

You must depart early for the nine hours drive to your starting point at the foot of the Langtang Valley. The road takes a scenic route, climbing high over the ridges to escape the Kathmandu Valley and provides you with a superb panorama of the Himalaya, including the Annapurnas, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and the peaks of the Langtang region that you will soon get familiar with. The journey to Syabrubesi begins our trek; this is the starting point of the trek. Behind Trisuli Bazaar the road is tricky because of the grubby road. During the travel you will pass through many small villages on the way will be fascinating for you with snippets. The first trail begins with a decent to a river; we cross the river and ascend to Thulo Syabru as you see the fascinating views of Langtang Himal and more. On the way of your trek you will pass through pine and Junipers forest. Overnight in Thulo Syabru (2,230m/ 7,316ft)

From Thulo Syabru it is a steep climb through forests of oak, fir and rhododendron to the top of a ridge. From here it is only a short descent to Singh Gompa. There is a Buddhist monastery and a small cheese factory here. We Stay overnight at a lodge.

From Sing Gompa you climb a ridge to the main Gosainkunda trail. There are good views across Langtang valley to Langtang Lirung. To the west there are dramatic views of the Ganesh Himal and Manaslu. Eventually, the trail descends from the ridge to the first of three lakes, Saraswati Kund. The second lake in the chain is named Bhairab Kund, and the third, Gosainkunda. This lake is particularly sacred and a place of pilgrimage in the summer. According to legend, this lake was created by Shiva when he pierced a glacier with his trident to obtain water, quenching his thirst after taking some poison. We camp for the night.

On a clear day near this holy lake, even the Annapurna range can be seen rising up behind and to the north, and across the valley is Langtang Lirung. There are about a dozen lakes in the Gosainkunda Basin, the main three being Saraswatikunda, Bhairabkunda, and Gosainkunda. Watching the still waters of these calm lakes is a wonderful experience to endure. Stay overnight at lodge.

This takes about four and half hours. The trail descends all the way to Singh Gompa passing Lauribanayak with magnificent mountain views and forests. Stay overnight at lodge.

We Trek from Sing Gompa to Dhunche which takes about six hours. The first part of the trail descends through pine, silver oak and rhododendron forests along with marijuana plants. You then cross a suspension bridge over the Sing Gompa Stream. The path then stretches at a flat level through some human settlements and mineral water factories up to Dhunche. Stay overnight at lodge.

We Drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu by bus & this takes about seven hours. It is a pleasant drive through a lush green highway back to Kathmandu. Overnight at your hotel

You can just simply chill out on this day & then go for some shopping down the dazzling streets of thamel, an internationally known hub for tourists from all over the world. You can also buy some post cards to send home. Overnight at your hotel.
